Cheryl Draa Cheryl Draa is a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, and lead designer/owner of Cheryl Draa Interior Designs in Marietta, GA.  She has 17 years of experience in residential Interior Design.  After working with a partner for six years (Church & Draa Interior Design), Cheryl formed her own company in 1997 in a spare bedroom of her home. In 2002, she incorporated the company and moved it to its current retail location at the Pointe at West Cobb on the corner of Barrett Parkway and Dallas Highway. Cheryl lives in Paulding County, works in Cobb County and supports the community and local school system through an internship program.  She had an intern from Marietta High School and also one from Kennesaw Mountain High School.  A former intern recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia to further her design education. In 2008, Cheryl partnered with Rowley Company as an Industry expert.  She writes articles for their Website and many of her projects can currently be seen on their site and in their current catalog. Cheryl Draa Interior Designs sponsored Lauren Halford in the 2006 Miss Cobb County Pageant.  Lauren was the winner and competed in the 2006 Miss Georgia Pageant, where she was a top ten finalist and talent winner! In 2005, they partnered with Must Ministries to raise money for them through an "IDEA Home" in West Cobb. Cheryl is an active member of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and was recognized by them as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses in Cobb County in 2005!  She is also a member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), IFDA, and WFCP.  In 2008 Cheryl was named "Rising Star of the Year" by Grace McNamara & The International Window Coverings Profession. Cheryl has two children, a son who graduated from Georgia Tech & is currently at the University of Florida, Ph.D Studies and a daughter at Auburn University.  Her goal when working with a client on their home is to carefully listen to the needs of a homeowner and then reflect their uniqueness with her good tastes, forming a beautiful and useful environment.
